Chi Rho Classical Academy provides instruction with a classical curriculum for Kindergarten through 6th grades.  We offer a hybrid-model for homeschooling families who wish to send their children only a few days in addition to a traditional Monday-Friday schedule.  Class sizes are limited to 12 students in order to ensure the needs of each student are being met.

We are a Christian community that affirms the Apostle’s Creed as our statement of belief and upholds the Holy Scriptures as the divinely inspired word of God.  Our teachers are rooted in the Catholic tradition and faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium.  We emphasize the unity of all Christians and warmly welcome families of other faiths asking that they respect our distinctive Christian identity.

OUR MISSION

The goal of this program is to encourage and assist parents in the education of their children as they grow in wisdom, knowledge, and virtue through the study of the liberal arts and humanities and the teachings of Christ.

“Each child is a unique and unrepeatable person and must receive individualized formation. Since parents know, understand and love each of their children in their uniqueness, they are in the best position to decide what the appropriate time is for providing a variety of information, according to their children’s physical and spiritual growth. No one can take this capacity for discernment away from conscientious parents… to have confidence in their rights and duties regarding the education of their children, so as to go forward with wisdom and knowledge, knowing that they are sustained by God’s gift.”

– Alfonso Cardinal López Trujillo, Pontifical Council for the Family, The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality, 8 December 1995
